Microsoft Office 2016 : ไมโครซอฟท์เปิดตัว Microsoft Office 2016 อย่างเป็นทางการ ซึ่งแนวทางของไมโครซอฟท์ในช่วงหลังคือพัฒนากระบวนการทำงานให้ก้าวหน้าขึ้น เราจึงเริ่มเห็นแอพตัวใหม่ๆ อย่าง Delve หรือ Sway ถูกเพิ่มเข้ามาในชุด Office นอกเหนือไปจากแอพหลักที่คนทั่วไปคุ้นเคยอย่าง Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
ฟีเจอร์ใหม่ของ Microsoft Office 2016

การทำงานร่วมกันในทีม (Working Together)

– Word 2016 รองรับการแก้เอกสารร่วมกันแบบเรียลไทม์ เห็นว่าเพื่อนร่วมงานกำลังแก้ไขอะไรอยู่ (แบบเดียวกับ Google Docs หรือ Office Online) ไมโครซอฟท์บอกว่าเบื้องต้นยังรองรับแค่ Word แต่ก็สัญญาว่าจะขยายไปยังแอพอื่นๆ ในภายหลัง
– สามารถสนทนากันระหว่างเพื่อนร่วมทีมภายในแอพ Office ได้เลย โดยจะเป็นการคุยผ่าน Skype for Business ที่แชท สนทนาเสียง วิดีโอ แชร์หน้าจอ ได้เหมือน Skype ตัวปกติทุกประการ

-Office 365 Groups สร้างกลุ่มทำงานย่อยเพื่อแชร์กล่องจดหมาย ปฏิทิน พื้นที่เก็บข้อมูล โน้ต ผ่าน Outlook 2016 และแอพ Outlook Groups บนอุปกรณ์พกพา

ปรับปรุงฟีเจอร์และความสามารถให้ฉลาดขึ้น (Work for You)

– Outlook 2016 ปรับปรุงระบบการค้นหาให้รวดเร็วกว่าเดิม เพิ่มความสามารถแชร์เอกสารบน OneDrive โดยกำหนดสิทธิการแชร์ได้จาก Outlook เลย

– Tell Me ฟีเจอร์ใหม่ล่าสุด โดยจะเป็นช่องค้นหาที่อยู่ตรงแถบ Ribbon เราสามารถพิมพ์คำค้นเพื่อดูวิธีทำงานที่ต้องการบน Office แล้วกดปุ่มหรือเมนูเพื่อสั่งการได้เลย (คล้ายกับพวก Launchy หรือ Quicksilver)

– Smart Lookup แถบด้านข้าง (sidebar) ที่เพิ่มเข้ามา ช่วยให้เราค้นหาข้อมูลจาก Bing จาก Office ได้โดยไม่ต้องเปิดเบราว์เซอร์ ลากรูปมาใส่เอกสารได้เลย

– OneDrive for Business ปรับปรุงใหม่ เปลี่ยนเอนจินซิงก์ใหม่ เพิ่มเสถียรภาพของการซิงก์ รองรับไฟล์ขนาดใหญ่ขึ้น เลือกซิงก์เป็นบางไฟล์ได้ เพิ่มรายการเอกสารล่าสุด (most recently used documents list) ที่ซิงก์ข้ามทุกอุปกรณ์

– รองรับฟีเจอร์ล็อกอินด้วยใบหน้าหรือลายนิ้วมือ Windows Hello
